I am working on a 92 legend V6 and it has blown at least one head gasget ...My question is r these motors that throw away that it is not worth having the heads planed and tested because the block is prolly trashed ....would it be good idea to proceed with just the heads and not have the block magnafluxed?

Re: Re: 92 acura legend overheated
I wouldn't throw away a good block. A couple of overheat shouldn't crack the block or head. Remove the head and inspect for cracks or damage and have it plained. Then measure the block for plain. Only use genuine head gasket.
