I'm currently working on buying a Neon from a buddy of mine for $300 dollars, can't beat that price for a perfectly fine working car, and the fender is all fux0rd. It's like... A sparkly purple color, girly, but still guy drivable. Anybody know what the name of that paint is? Or where I could get it? I'm almost positive the car has never been painted, so it has to be a factory color. I believe that it is a '99, but it's not the 2000 model, it could be anywhere from '95 - '99, though. He didn't seem real positive on the year, he is in the process of getting the title for me. It's also the Sport model. Pretty neat car, but the cloth they used for the interior just plain sucks. Also, what would a Neon like that with... A whopping 150K be worth in good condition? Running fine? That is after I replace the fender, 'n the gas door that some dumbass broke off, along with the power steering pump or maybe it's just a hose. If I can make a profit on it, I'll sell the thing and look for a 80's Camaro. Woot.

Re: Neon Factory Colors
Look on the driver's side door, there is a place that will give you the paint code for the car. Have any paint shop look at it and they can paint match it for you.
As far as the condition of it...that all depends on the driver who owned and maintenanced it. I have heard and seen neons with over 300,000 miles with their original engine and tranny on them and they ride, shift, and accelerate smoothly. It's all about maintenence. |

Re: Neon Factory Colors
you could look on the driver's side door, and get the paint code from it...then go online and look it up there.
