Any suggestions to increase car's performance?

Ok, I have a 2001 Alero (as if the name didnt say it all) and I want to see what possible modifications I can make to it to increase the performance of the car. Any one have any suggestions?

And I also just have some random questions.......

Is it worth getting a chrome muffler tip like seen on other cars?
Anyone know where to get Alero bumpers and side skirts in the US?

.......more questions to come later

What engine do you have in your Alero?

Re: Any suggestions to increase car's performance?

Well as far as the side skirts and rear bumper, i would go to www.pfyc.com. i think they have at one and i saw the same one at another web site. I also saw some headers for the alero, both for the 4 cylinder and the 6. They have a ecu as well. I would get silverstar headlights for your alero, very nice addition. the high beam will turn nite into day, trust me on that one, and even the headlights will look good. You could get some white side markes as well from silverstar, but not much in brightness. ohh yeah..the headlights and highbeams are still 55/65. I would not go above that spec b/c you could fry your wireingharness. Just my 2 cents in this. bnaylor3400-what do you think?

Sounds good to me. What do you think of the Razzi kits for the Alero?

Im not a big fan of the rear end part but i kind of like the side skirts, but for some reason, i think a speed bump will kill them though.

Me, mines a daily driver, and I typically kill at least one deer a year with it, so I'll keep mine stock....

Re: Any suggestions to increase car's performance?

If you want to up your horsepower about 85+ or so, get the RSM Supercharger Kit. They cost $3500, but you can get a used one of eBay every once and while for around $2500.

If you want a body kit, get the Kato Combat from Andysautosport.com. I think Razzi kits are ugly for the Alero. Here's the Kato Combat body kit.

As for interior, I don't know, maybe useless gauges?

If you're going to spend that kind of money a Turbo would be a better choice..
