4g63 gsx
Okay so the write up for the 420A turbo is almost done. And I'm ready to start a new project. I did some calculations and putting the stage I on the 420A is definatly cheaper than buying a gs-t. but to pursue this project any further say... to a stage II, the power to money ratio changes in favor of a factory turbo car. I'm also realizing how much front wheel drive can suck. Even with the stage I, I get no traction and a whole lot of hop under hard accelleration. I need something with all wheel drive (how do you gs-t guys do it?). I want to just build up a 4g63 engine before I get the car. Is the tsi/gsx the only car that has a compatable 4g63 for an AWD car? I need to know what to look for at the junk yard. Thanks!

Re: 4g63 gsx
The engine doesn't have to be from an AWD if you are just getting the motor and not the drivetrain. Other then the VR4 galant, I don't think any American released car had the turbo 4g motor (and obviously e/t/l).

Re: 4g63 gsx
Any turbo 4g63 engine will work, I would suggest a 6 bolt from a 90-most 92's.

Re: 4g63 gsx
Ya your money would be best spent on a 6 bolt. But try to get your hands on a 2G head.
