Silverstein: Discovering the Waterfront

I bought this album last week, and i gotta say, it's not quite as good as the first, but it still kicks ass, i love it. I'm pretty sure Suislide was the only other person on here i saw that liked it, but if there are any screamo fans out there, you need to check this album out.

i fucking LOVE this album. i didn't stop listening to it for about 5 days after i got it.

in my opinion it IS better then the last one, but that's just my opinion.

these guys are local (from Burlington Ontario) so it's good to see them make it big. i know the bass player, and the funny thing is i only know him because he sees me at every one of their shows. haha, so now he actually remembers my name and shit.

Yeah the cd definately follows me everywhere. Nothing like blasting your sword versus my dagger down campus town..hehe I need to see these guys in concert sometime.

Re: Silverstein: Discovering the Waterfront

I agree with suislide, i think it is a lot better than their first album. I haven't really found a song on it that I don't like.

I can't really decide which one's my favorite either though. The one i keep going back to every time is Your Sword vs. My Dagger.... I even listen to this cd almost every day in my office at work.

#6 and #8 are my favorites, with #3 following closely behind.

but you're right, almost the whole album is good. the only song i don't like is #7, "My Heroine". it's too whiny, and some of the lyrics are really dumb, so that's the only one that i always skip.
