I would greatly appreciate it if someone could give me some idea where my oil filter would be located on my ford 2001 sport windstar. Thanks

if you can not find something as simple as an oil filter, DONT MESS WITH ANYTHING!!!!!. you will do more bad than good.

well, ask stupid question that is what you get.people these days are just looking for the easy way. too lazy to just find the solution. if you know how to change oil you would be able to find the filter... it is under the right side of the engine, behind the subframe, next to the lower rad. hose...

It's right near the crank pulley, just above the sub-frame. Not the best location, but most are not anymore! At least it's a good sized, easy to source filter. A good ol' motorcraft FL400S is it, I've been using a the carquest premium version.
