I have an 88 rx7 that I want set up for autocross. I am looking for a good, adjustable suspension set up that would allow me to run on the weekend and still drive it for the rest of the week. Anyone have a setup they like or any you’ve seen that work well.

I’ll look into that CUSCO comp kit but what are the Toe Steer Eliminators you are using and what do they do. How do you like Tein’s EDFC, it sounds like a sweet concept but does it work as good as it sounds?


Right now I’m looking at the JIC-MAGIC FLT A2 series with pillow ball mounts.
As for the rest it might look something like,
Eibach Anti-Roll-Kit for front and rear
Tanabe Sustec front strut tower bar
JIC Magic Carbon strut tower bar in the rear

Well our cars are "4 wheel steering" cars. Basicly the rear adjusts the toe to make the car corner better (or so mazda engineers think). Its that feeling when you take a croner hard and the rear feels like its stepping out but its not. Thats the toe steering working.
The toe eliminators get rid of that adjustment. making the rear much more predictable and you can feel the limit alot better.
The EDFC is great. Somewhat of a novilty but hey. When i need to make a quick change for a tight corner section its great. And then when i need to give the gf's mom a ride somewhere i soften it up. Its nice to have and seems to work great.

for my track cars i have yet to run teins on them but in thinking of giving it a shot. Mabe even EDFC equipped teins, but im just not sure how well suited they would be.

Im not a fan of the JIC rear carbon bar. I have seen then fracture before :P I have often made 4 point bars for the rear that work great. But im just going to put a full cage in the car :P
