regal monsoon speakers
I need to replace the rear speaker in my 1999 Regal GS and can't figure out how to get it out. I took the whole back seat out with no luck. Any suggestions?

Back seat won't get to them. You need to take the grill off the top of them and then you have access to the screws. You can also crawl in the trunk and see them from there, but you'll need to access the screws from the top.

You need 10 MM socket and you will have to remove the rear seat bottom and back then the rear shelf will slid out when pulled toward you you'll also have to pull up on the headliner trim that runs to the deck. I have done this to replace a blown speaker now the other one is buzzing! FYI aftermarket speakers will only reproduce Bass when attached to you Buick's Monsoon stereo. |
