Question 1990 to 1994 3ee engine differances please help!!!

does anyone know what year has the 8 3/4 inch bolt to bolt fuel rail and which had the 8 1/2 bolt to bolt i bought a used engine that was advertised to fit in a 1991 to 1994 for my 1994 tercel and it has a fuel rail that measures 8 1/2 inches the problem is the fuel on the new engine has a bolt to bolt measurement of 8 3/4 center to center on the bolts. The shop i bought the new motor says it should work but i checked around and it seems there were to differant 3ee engines used in the tercel the 8 3/4 bolt to bolt fuel rail was used on years 90 to 91 and then they went to a 8 1/2 fuel rail from 1992 to 1994. if anyone knows where i can get documentation of which years these fuel rails were use this would help me convince the engine supplier that they sent the wrong engine. i need somthing to fax them explaining this technical data thank lots and lots in advance.

1990 is the 3-E and 91-93 is the 3E-E. 1994 goes back to the 3-E
Tell your mechanic to look at ALLDATA and he will see this.
