Talking Gas Smell

I dont know is this is true, maybe just my imagination. but
for time to time I smell gas while driving, just a couple of
seconds, I also think my 94 Concorder maybe drinking a little bit
too much gas, again maybe it all in my mind.

But I think will be good to ask you folks, for tips on this.

What are the most popular causes for those two subjects?

Thanks

Re: Gas Smell

If you have the 3.5L V6 Engine, take it to the dealer and ask them if a Fuel Rail O-Ring Recall has been performed on the car, they will be able to check by researching your car using the VIN number, you miight also have Fuel Injector O-rings that are starting to seep.

I got the 3.3 L motor.

Any other "General Tip" not specific to this car, but that
you may know, that apply to all cars......

Re: Gas Smell

while your car is sitting in your driveway, look for fuel leaks and see where they might be.
