Yo i got a Problem!!!
i have a problem with my car and i cant seem to get the cover off of the back deck... i just got new speakers and i cant get the darn cover off... Help me out sum1 plz!!! Al

well ftwftp2003 what year is ur car? Look inside the trunk, usually they are held with clips or screws.

To get the cover off the back deck, you'll first need to remove the two rear B-pillars (c pillars) that go down from the roof and meet the cover. You will need to remove the suit-hanger hooks (if present) and then pop off the pillar cover. After that, you will need to fold down the seat and remove the plastic cover concealing the front of the speaker cover panel. After that, the panel should pull right off.

ok 1 lil problem with that i have a 96 grand am.. and yes the seats do fold down but its the center area of the seats that fold down!!!! thats it the head rest part is still attached to the back deck some how.. and it still aint commin off...i tried everything and their is also no bolts to it it looks like its latched on by heavyduty hooks.... well i hope u can help me out... sum1 later

on the '96, there are 2 bolts (15 mm i believe) on the front of the lower part of the backseat. remove those 2 and the bottom portion should come out. there will be 2 torx head bolts (T-45 or T-50) that hold the seatbelts and back portion on once u get the bottom off. remove these 2 and then remove the side panels in the back. the cover should come off then and you will be able to access the speakers.
