'02 Impala dimmer switch

My '02 9C1 (police) Impala with 140,000 km. has a broken dimmer switch. Generous Motors wants $400CAD for a new one.
I'm looking for other options. Is this switch/turn signal unique to the Impala? Does anyone have a wreck that they are parting out?
Also since this happened my dash lights are dim. Are these two problems related or just coincidence?

Ok i'm confused...is this the headlight switch or the high beam/blinker switch?

I re-read my post and I can see where you might be mislead. It's the high/lowbeam/blinker switch.

Just go online and search junkyards they can pretty much search now all over the country and find the part off of a wrecked impala. It'll be alot cheaper that way. Good luck.

I'd go this way too. $400 is way to much.
