B18, B16 motor help
I just purchased a 88 Honda Crx HF with a b18a1 motor swap with a b16 tranny. I was wondering if I were to get a flywheel or a new clutch what would I buy the part for...the b16 or b18, im not exactly sure which one because i know the flywheel and clutch are sandwiched together between the bell housing and block. I'm pretty new with serious motor modding so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: B18, B16 motor help
any b series flywheel will work. and find out the year of your tranny and how many splines it have and get a clutch that matches the year.

i knew it was you!
![]() first off you have an ACT clutch. it should do you some good for awhile. when it's time to replace stuff and your tranny is out we can fit it with a couple of pilot tools to see exactly what year the set-up is. we can get you another ACT however, the shop stands behind Competition Clutch. one of these days we'll show you the difference between the 2 you need to pick up a pair of slicks before a new clutch
