Angry Car stalled while driving 40 mph? 1994 LaSabre

I have been having trouble with this car for over a week now....This is the first time it stalled like that. I'm afraid of it now. The problem had been that the engine would begin shaking at 47 mph...if I stayeed at a steady speed. It would happen at speeds between 45 and 60. Then Shaking come and goes. Mechanic took it home last night...just to catch it shaking. No shake for him. Though he has fellt it shaking this way in the past. Tonight I'm driving....it just stalls. The steering just got hard...I pulled over to side....Then I restated and drove home. I call that a stall...right?
It was not shaking or acting badly. Only code ever found so far is for the 02 sensor. Serv Eng light was on..... It had gone off for a few hours yeaterday. Mechanic thinks it's something loose in wiring?
In the past 10 days it has had new spark plugs....new spark plug wires tried...mechanic says trans fuild looks clean...mechanic says he as cleaned the fuel injectors. Mechanic has noticed a low pressure on cyclinder #5....but does not think it is the problem. Mechanic says he tested for vacuum leaks. The car also had the alternator replaced 2 week ago.
Besides taking it to this independant mechanic...who many respect and whom I can afford...I also took it to a Buick dealer serv deptfor diagnosis. They found a code for the 02 sensor (as has the org mechanic). Buick dealer said that the problem is that there is no signal going from the fuel injector on #5 to the Power Control Module. Buick dealer says they will need to look for a problem in that wiring area...which will take an hour or two...and possibly they will have to replace the Power Control Module. Another car says...'just replace the 02 sensor...it could be causing all this' ....but my independant mechanic says that there is no proof that replacing 02 sensor will help. ...just because it gives a code. (no one has heard about this stall yet ...it just happened.buick dealer did not say they were planing to replace the 02 sensor either.
Is the stall related??? Or a whole new Ball Game???

I can see four separate posts for this auto. It would be easier to follow all the posts if they were in one topic. I see four separate topics so far. Since your car is now stalling, I wouldn't suspect that one cylinder (#5) would cause this. However, if there a problem with the injector(s) circuitry (PCM maybe), then I could understand the car stalling. I would still take a closer look at cylinder #5 since it has come up from two independent sources who have looked at the car. And it's possibly that you may have two different problems happening!
