maybe a stupid question...
can i wire in a gm maf to my 1g without a translator? i already have an safc and dont really need the trims on the translator. any help appreciated. thanks.

you need the translator. they are 2 entirely different sensor types. if you have a safc then you can just zero the fuel trims on the maf translator
