turn signal flasher/relay location?

I've got a 2001 Montana that the hazards will not work unless engine is running and the turn signals won't work except about 2 flashes and then nothing. I'm guessing the combination flasher relay is the problem. I bought one to install but I can't find the danged thing. Somebody Help!

The module is located on or above the steering column. You'll need to remove the lower steering wheel cover to see it, and it'll probably still be hard to see. According to the manual, it is a six pin connector with only 3 wires in it....

BUT, before you do anything, check your 15A Hazard fuse in the passenger side fuse box....if it's burned out, it might behave the way it is....good luck, glen

Glenn, I found it. Its clipped to the brace that holds the steering column, but its way up there. The only thing I had to remove to get at it was the grey kick panel above your feet. Look straight up from the brake pedal and you'll see the unpainted steel brace. You have to reach clear up on top of this brace to get hold of it. Thanks for your help. Bob
