Question TB have a prob with 4x4?

Weird thing happens. My TB hardly ever run 4x4. When TB do drive in 4x4 mode, sometimes the wheels get locked up and halt when turning. If I force more power, tires would screech. I don't think the TB have limited slip differential option. TB have to switch back to 2x4 to get out of the locking. Anyone know if this is normal?

I had Service 4x4 light some time ago, had my dealer reflash the computer and ever since no more light.

Re: TB have a prob with 4x4?

Are you using the 4x4 on dry pavement if so don't, the transfercase binds up because of different wheel speed on turns.

maxwedge is right, never use 4WD on anything but wet/slippery surfaces and try to turn tightly. The front wheels cant make the sharp turns you are used to them making, just have to let the wheels turn in a little bigger area.
