loud humming noise

hello,
good morning. i have a trouble with my vento volkswagen model 98. there's a loud humming noise if my car start to accelerate to higher speed. i don't hear it if it's not running,kindly advise what causing this irritating noise? thanks in advance..

Get up to speed where it makes the noise & shut down the engine. If the noise is still there start thinking wheel bearing.

you're right mr. boschmanmn, you hit the exact problem. i've been to several mechanic but they remain guessing. it's a big help. thanks a lot and good day
