N/A 420A Performance Problems
I rebuilt the engine myself at 112,000 miles Auto.
Pulled the engine. Replaced all gaskets, water pump, main bearings, rod bearings, Crane valve springs, JE Forged 10.5 pistons with rings, Eagle rods, Crane Performance Cams, EBay header, EBay intake, EBay High flow cat, radiator, thermostat, timing belt, OEM coil pack/wires, torque converter, got the recall fixed. Everything else is stock. Problem: Car is slow as hell. I could swear its slower then a stock RS. Do I need to reprogram the computer? Get a new one? That is an area I am not too familiar with. Or is it something else? Help!!!! |

Re: N/A 420A Performance Problems
your likely aren't flowing enough fuel and the spark isn't advanced enough for your new cams and compression ratio.

Re: N/A 420A Performance Problems
you need an SAFC or similar to properly tune the fuel flow. Spark advance I believe has to be done through the ECU.
