Personally I'd go for the Prelude assuming you're refering to the newer ones. They're not as common, they have good power, and good looks to boot.

Re: late 90's teg v. prelude
yea i almost bought one too vtec. it was nice had 18s chrome, cold air intake, and it was lowered. it would have been much faster then my celica. but my dad looked at it real good and said it had problems. and it was out of my price range by like 300 dollars and my dad wouldnt let me borrow the rest from him. i was so dissapointed. it was sold like the next day.

Speed- The cars are pretty close, but stock for stock, the Prelude tends to be a little faster than the Integra GSR.
Handling- The Prelude is Honda's best handling FWD car (besides the Type R). The GSR handles well too though. Price- This is a hard category. Both cars should be around the same price (given equal years, mileage, etc.). The Integra might be slightly cheaper. Rarity- Prelude Ease of Modification- Integra (by this I mean there are more parts for the Integra than the Prelude). Overall, I would say Prelude, but the Integra GSR is by no means a bad choice either. |

Re: late 90's teg v. prelude
It would be absolutely Ludicrous to buy the teg before the Honda.
Im sorry for that bad joke |

Re: late 90's teg v. prelude
^that was a joke? damn that was shitty. j/k
anyway the honda's probably cheaper seeing as how you're mostly paying for the name when you buy from a company like acura, lexus, infiniti etc as opposed to the parent company.
