stock radio removal

got a buddy of mine with a 1989 eighty eight olds who wants to install an aftermarket HU. anybody have any diagram or instructions on how to remove it? i've experience with japanese cars, just not domestic...

remove vent trim panel (t-15 torx I think)
remove lower dash hush panels
remove lower dash (dont miss the screw in the glovebox)
remove screws holding radio brackets
slide radio out and unclip connectors and anntenna plug

Ta-Da! Yes, you have to dissasemble practically the whole dash...sucks, doesn't it?

wow, sounds like a lot of work...yeah, i was expecting to take off the entire lower dash...
