engine swap

i was wondering if a skyline engine could be put into my 200sx? if not what would be a good engine for not alot of money?

Welcome.

It's been a while since I've posted here, but I can help you out with your question.

NO. you cannot swap a skyline engine into your 200sx. Because.... Skylines are Rear Wheel Drive and your 200sx is Front Wheel Drive.

Technically with an unlimited budget, anything is possible, so I suppose you could completely rebuild your car to all for a driveshaft tunnel to the rear wheels, but that's not at all practical. If you had that kind of money, you wouldn't be driving a 200sx.

But, I will tell you that I love my RB engine!!!


Anyhow... "what would be a good engine"?. I would get a FWD SR20det from a bluebird. That should get you a little over 200hp and really make your car sing!!!
