Found the perfect factory tweeter replacement

I joined this forum just to tell you guys this!

I have a 93 VR4 and as you can imagine, after 12 years in the sun the stock paper tweeters dry up. I was installing my system in my car and decided to buy new tweeters too. it is a $0.60 tweeter W/ cap for power protection. I am telling you, this is the best $1.20 i've ever spent on a sound system! they are more sensitive than the stock tweeters but that can be adjusted. the stock tweeter mouts will likely be brittle (my left one fell apart into 6 peices) so have super glue handy. you ahve to snip off the capacitor and mount it inline with the positive speaker terminal to get it to fit into the mount. you will also have to cut up the mount a bit and then hot-glue everything solidly together. took me about half and hour to fabricate/modify the stock tweeter mounts to work with the new ones. if you stock tweets are blown or wrecked or if u just want new tweeters. get these! hell, get a couple extra pairs and give them to stealth and GT owners as stalking stuffers. if u know somebody else wanting a pair, split the shipping (about $8 for the first couple sets) with them.

guys, here it is.

Enjoy!
