1994 firebird v6 problems

My Car Is Acting Like It Is Missing, It First Started Out That It Only Start Spitting And Spuddering If It Was The First Thing In The Mourning And It Would Not Do It If I Was Accelerateing Only When I Was Cruiseing, But After It Would Heat Up It Was Fine. Know It Is Doing It All Of The Time. I Have Changed The Spark Plugs, Fuel Filter, 02 Sensors, And I Have Ran A Fuel System Cleaner Through It. Can Anyone Please Help Me Out With Some Advise?

First off, Why Are You Typing With Capitol Letters At The Beginning Of Every Word? Not trying to come off as a jerk, but it just makes it a little difficult to read. As for your situation, sounds to me like you may have bad ignition coils. And did you change your spark plug wires as well when you changed your spark plugs? Bad wires could also be the problem. It definately sounds like an ignition problem to me.

Re: 1994 firebird v6 problems

I just went through that. I had 1 coil gone and another that barely had any spark. I replaced them and that fixed it. Pull your plug wires and check the spark. If it is not white hot and jumping around, then replace it on the plug and remove the wire from the coil. There s/b no change on the engine sound if it is bad. put a screwdriver in the wire end that fits on the coil. see if it will arc to the coil. If there is no spark or it is a reddish spark then your coils are bad. bradmancue
