Talking PVC and fuel filter

I know that it has been covered before on this thread, but can someone post a step by step way to find a PVC valve and fuel filter on a 99? Explain it to me as if you would a child.

Better yet a picture!!

Re: PVC and fuel filter

I am guessing that you have a 1999 Ford Escort not an Escort ZX2. If so, go to the first link and click on it. Once on that page you can click on the picture labeled Fig. 1. That will show you the location of the PCV valve.
The second link shows a picture of the fuel filter. The in-line fuel filter is located in the engine compartment between the fuel tank and the fuel rail. You can also click on PCV or FUEL FILTER in the right column of that page for more information on either item. Good luck!

in my 2.0 the fuel filter is located on the firewall in front of the drivers seat (off to the side of the master cyl) two plastic clips hold it in place
