@$$ raped buy a 99 civic si

Hello i am the guy with the crapy 91 grad am. Yesterday i was drivin around a i was kinda going fast to get along side of a red 99 civic si. Had a huge spoiler, a muffler i forget what kind, and i could tell he had an intake ( buy the sound it actualy sounded ok not that my car sounds nice or anyting), and it was also 5 speed manual. so i pull up to him rev my engin he tell i am not jokin light is green i hit the gass i blink and he was gone. I see him as like a small dot hundreds of feet away from me so i try to get back up to him. he so waited for me at the next light i could tell he could have made it throught but he wanted to beat me again this time he like gave me a 5 sec head start then wooosh he was gone again. conclution never race a beautiful 99 civic si they will rule your ass

.

Lose to a Civic but beat a Mustang GT. Does your Grand Am just, go fast when it feels like it? Seriously come down to Virginia I'll race your Grand Am vs mine.

Before my clutch started slipping I schooled a '00 SI on my way back from the track. You should have seen the look on his face as I walked away from him pretty quickly, with a good driver they run a high 15 stock I believe.

yea....hahaha....i guess so....but i was just saying.....i heard that si's aren't that quick.....i said that because my bro drives a hatch w/ a b16....and he says he seriously smokes si's that have like, intake, exhaust or wahtever....i know the hatch is a lot lighter so that's probably why.....but i wasn't really saying that cuz killerclaws lost ...

This thread is lame, Im sorry. Youre talking about a 91 grand am that prolly runs 17s in the quarter vs. a 99 SI which ARE slow to begin with. There is a kid here who runs a 99 SI w/ Jackson racing supercharger kit and has run a best of 15.2. When they made the 99-00 SI they forgot the "H" and the "T".

Now if that car had some kind of turbo kit under the hood it may have been considerably quick. All motor and supercharged those cars are as quick as a Kia Rio.

"Brian... Sounds like a serial killer name, is that what you are? Don't come around here again!"

Dude you're lame, go run your Civic into a river, with you still behind the wheel. Civic Si's aren't the fastest cars in the world but they aren't the slowest. What's your favorite car company, FORD? lol... Ford's a joke, every American car company is a damn joke. Shit, think about it. 1998 Mustang GT Automatic 1/4 mile time = 15.6
1999 Honda Civic Si 1/4 mile time = 15.7
What's wrong with this picture? Oh let me show you what's wrong. The Honda Civic Si is the BASELINE sport compact production car from Honda in Japan. Ever hear of the S2000 or the NSX?
So maybe it's not slow because everyone and their grandma in Fast and the Furious runs 10's, but for a factory car with full interior and street tires and no modifications to run 15.7, it's quite quick.
