depending on how much subs you're getting, you can take the alpine out. they are more of a Sound Quality sub. no doubt they can get loud, but you'd have to have at least 3 of those. the audiobahns would be more of what you want. 2 would work fine, just port the box. how much can you spend on one sub?

i got 2 alpine swr-1241d's wired at 2 ohms and they are in a box about .78ft^3 per side and i was playing around with them yesterday in my basement and hooked them up to my home stereo reciever sending about 100watts rms and they shook the windows on the second floor. well thats what they said upstairs. i think you should go with the alpines.

Im going to have to go with the Audiobahn Aw1251x on this one... I used to run 4 of those bad boys off 1600 watts and let me tell you -- it would flex my damn windsheild! It was crazy... But yeah, all depends on your car and what you are looking for. The AW1251x in a sealed enclosure will provide better then average SQ and if you make the box slightly larger then recommended specs you will also get some good boom! :smoka:

I was looking to spend around 120 for each sub and i seen the aubiobahn for about 90 bucks and i figured that was a nice price for 400 watts rms

Audiobahns are great that would be a good choice.
JL Audio is really good too but a touch on the expensive side. |

My plan was to get 1 15W3 for my car, and call it a day, but I ended up buying the aluminum cone eclispe 12" since I got such a deal on it. I think it's awesome, but that 15W3 POUNDS in my car! At least I don't have to give up so much airspace with the eclipse
