I just found out from my fiance that she had been taking speed since i had been away from her. She says she is not anymore, but i feel betrayed and hurt. i've always been against drugs and I know she had a rough time in high school. But we've been out for three years and been together for a little longer. I just really don't know what to do. I already told her that i forgive her and she said she threw it all away. But i feel like she betrayed my trust and....

I guess i just need to vent a little bit.

She's taking them because we haven't seen each other in 3 months because she has to make some money to move do to where i am also she has to finish this smester in school.

I am stronley against the use of meth. I see that shit wreak peoples lives. Are you sure she is not using. Meth is such an addictive drug, watch yourself man. If you suspect she is still using at any point I would get out of the relationship.

I'd take her word that she stopped doing it, but spend as much time with her as you can, just to be sure. Something about it just seems a little fishy to me. If she were really only taking drugs "to help forget that you're apart," I don't know that she'd be doing Meth -- there are many drugs out there that would be much better utilized for that. There may be another reason why she got onto Meth, and if it isn't found and addressed, it could lead her to get back on (or continue) using it.

Take her word for it that she's off it, and has no plans to get back on, then make sure she doesn't get back on it (she may have an addictive personality, so don't expect it to necessarily be an easy venture.) If she does, drop the hammer and don't hesitate to give an ultimatum. If you two really love each other, the potential for keeping that is far more powerful a drive than any drug out there.

Or there's always Pot. At least you two could enjoy that together -- Just trying to make as many suggestions as possible!

i've never done any drugs and i don't plan too. Besides pot is worse for you than cigarettes with the chemicals in it. Who said anything about meth. I said speed.

You could do what tenguzero said but take it to the next level. Instead of taking pot together, throw a few packages of birth control pills at her and tell her to knock herself out. THEN you two can enjoy it together

I lost my first real love to that stuff I can't stress enough get her to test I dont know how long it stays in you but prove shes been clean and demand she starts N/A

if she EVER touches it again walk or send her to rehab that second.

Since we're talking about rehab I thought I'd list this.

During the typical "drug free week" in high school we had some people come from there that had done things like meth. Aparently this is the best of the best and their success rate is close to 70%.

Anyway, it's just an idea that I hope you don't have to take.
