ka24de altima question need help

ok my friend just blew up his engine in his 96 altima and if we are right its the ka24de if he purchased a stock ka24de for a 240sx will it bolt to his original tranny? and will the mounts and such work as well? thanx for any input.

YES! Check the exhaust manifolds. They may not be the same. Belts and pulleys may need to be switched.

another question is it possible to fit an sr20de or sr20det into a 96 altima or is there to much fabrication involved thanx

i gave it a little more thought but does the sr20det bolt up to the tranny in the sentra se-r and switch turbo manifolds... would that in turn make it possible to run in an altima
