92 automatic tranny replacement?
ok i bought a 92 eclipse (edit 2.0L) for $350 and all it really needs is a new tranny and timing belt....
anyhow, i am not a car person at all, but is there some way i could identify what transmission i need at a junkyard? like a model number of somesort? better yet, anyone know where i can get a cheap used transmission? (automatic) Last edited by cata; 09-20-2005 at 05:54 PM.

however it is not on there BUT my brother went and got me one..so hopefully it will work, ill find out tomorrow. i will bookmark taht page though
