new fuel filter

hey guys, just installed a brand spankin new z32 fuel filter and its great! the only question i have is about my new idling rpm. it hovers between 1100 and 1200 rpm at idle and normal operating temperature... is this normal immediately after the install?? is it going to settle down eventually??

Re: new fuel filter

Nissan Idle is random as hell like that... if it matters that much unplug the ECU for while so it will reset.

Re: new fuel filter

actually, i was driving around tonight and it settled back down. what a difference though!! i can definitely feel it, and its no placebo if you wanna call it that. the other difference is when i let off the gas the rpm don't go down as fast, they slowly go down.. much more smooth. what have you guys felt? and how much did you pay for yours?

I think...

I am the only one who is actually gonna make sure the Z32 filter isnt a Placebo effect..im actually gonna buy a S13 filter thena Z32 fitler the power gain or response you feel may be just form a Dirty to Clean filter...Ill be doing htis in like 2 weeks.

Re: new fuel filter

its not placebo. trust me. maybe my stock filter was the original and must have been damn clogged cause the engine runs better all around
