timing problem
I repalced the crankshaft on my 1988 pickup, 4 cylinder 2.4 liter. I can get it to run but only by advancing the distributor way way past where it should be, problably 20 to 25 degrees BTDC. it idles rough of course and bogs down when I try to drive it forward. I've replaced the timing chain and guide before and it worked fine. I just cannot figure out what I've done wrong this time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mark |
