Cool N/A 4 cam V8 Vs. DSM 4 cyl+boost

Import vs. domestic time. So im heading home and im sitting at a light and a mid-late 90s eclipse pulls up behind me. Im behind a taurus and when the light changes this taurus is going SOOOOO damn slow. The dsm is hitting it and letting off making his car go up and down to express his lack of patience. The taurus goes strait and I take a right onto the on ramp, the dsm follows. The on ramp has 2 lanes that merge into one and then merges onto the freeway. The dsm tries to take the outside lane to pass me...Ya right. I see his front end lift up and i let the 4 cam v8 spread its wings. I was kinda worried cuz the thing had some really nice hids, and was really clean so i thought the guy prolly has some real money in the thing. I guess not because he got left big time. I get on the freeway and he was way back there. I go around this bend at 70 mph, see him coming up quick, looks like he already is flooring it around this turn. The road becomes strait and i downshift and hit it. He passes me and gets as far as half a car on me, i use thrid to stop him from gaining anymore then hit 4th and proceed to walk right past him and then put some serious lenth between us. It was nice to let the mach flex its muscle a bit even if i did guzzle down some $3/gallon gas.

nice race, this is kinda OT but kinda not... if its a dodge avenger with a 420a... is it still an import? it is a dsm...(for those of you that dont know, if any, the 420a is a chrysler motor)
