i think boost leak

ok i punched out some honey combs and running just down pipe, if i ease onto throttle it doesnt happen but if i jump on it i get this back firing ,sputtering bullshit once i get passed 3000 to 3500 it stops and gives the power back, i have replaced all piping and mass back to full honey combs any ideas..........intake mani gasket? i cannot at any time go passed half throttle or it farts on me, or if i down shift and rpms come up to quick and i give throttle it happens bad. it sounds like a leak like it wont hold the boost when i give it but where would it be?

Re: i think boost leak

I had the same thing happen to me. When i come onto the throttle easy it was ok but when i got the rpms to high it would spit and sputter really bad. I changed the plugs and wires and the problem went away. If i was you i would check your plugs out 1st then wires.
