swapping from a 2.8L to a 4.3L

I was planning on buyin a 4.3L engine, and i was wondering if it probly would bolt right up to the stock engine brackets. Also i have a 5 speed manual with my 2.8L, could i use this or would i have to buy another trans. And also I was planning on turboing the 4.3L. How much power might i get out of it? and anyone kno what any probs might occur

Re: swapping from a 2.8L to a 4.3L

welcome to AF if ive missed you to this point, sorry... no, your transmission wont work, and it will be almost as costly as a 350 swap as far as i know...and the problems with turboing, are if the pistons are not forged, there will be piston parts in the oil pan if you boost more then 4 or 5 lbs.
