Talking Old Body, New Body Style

I see the term "Old Body" and "New Body" what is the difference? And how would I know if I had one or the other in a 1999?

Re: Old Body, New Body Style

1999 is an old body style in the burb. however 1999 was the first year of the new body style silverado. If you check out chevy's web sight you will see the new body style suburban it has not been updated in a few years so the one you see there is what it looked like in 2000 when the new style came out for the burb.
