Re: LEAKING ENGINE COOLANT everywhere except radiator

I have a couple things you can look at.First check to see if you may have a hose by the firewall that is cracked happened to me.Also you may look to see if the auxiliary water pump buy the firewall is leaking, also a possibility.Good luck.......

Re: LEAKING ENGINE COOLANT everywhere except radiator

check rear heater hoses behind engine cover to see if split or blown, coolant tanks ar also notoruous for craking on back side where you cant see it.aux water pump is on drivers side and mostlikly not problem.

Coolant Leaks

I have had them all. Check the "Y" shaped hose off of the Coolant Expansion Tank(reservoir) and also the plastic piece that that hose attaches to on the tank (best bet is to evacuate the tank and remove it). Check the crossover line bneath the exoansion tank and the heater lins off of the auxillary heater valve (pop cover on the valve to get a better look). I had a leak at base of expansion tank where rubber hose comes off and it was a crack in the tank where hose attaches, I discovered a metal sleeve 9in the tank at that point and the crack allowed the sleeve to slip toward the hose. I tapped the sleeve back up the plasric neck and retightened her and that took care of that leak.
