Clutch pad...

Okay, this little piece of crayon stuff keeps breaking off my clutch pedal, it looks like a pad used to start the car, i guess its some sort of switch?? Anyways, its already broken once and now its doing it again, and when it breaks i can't start the car w/o push start. Is there something i can replace this pad with so that it won't crack and split after a month?

Re: Clutch pad...

thats the clutch saftey swich? maybe you could just tape it down or something. those things do tend to break alot.

Maybe a new OEM one would do the trick?

Re: Clutch pad...

find out the signal it sends to the ECU when its pushed down all the way to allow the car to start or use some resistor or some shit so the ECU thinks the clutch is always pressed in... boom, no more switch, no more pushing in on da pedal to start it... thats one way of doing it. Cept i leave me cars in gear so I can't just use a remote starter or just fire it up without putting it into neutral... parking brakes are for old ladies.
