They are equal length pipes, keeps the exhaust flow tuned properly (so that the exhaust released from each cylinder are kept in order and not bunched up where they will restrict each others flow through the downpipe/collector/cat/exhaust... Don't know if that makes sense, but if each exhaust burst has to travel different distances (like on normal headers), then when they go into the downpipe, some of them get bunched up (one travelling a longer distance might come into the downpipe at the same time as one that travels a shorter distance)....

Re: CTK: new engine pics

This is how you get long primary pipes and don't need to have your 4-1 tube under the oil pan...
Car is so low that when I wanted to put on jun 4-1 header the header was about 3cm of the ground...I sold that one not even takin on the test ride cause I wouldn't get out of the garage...
With this one you don't need to change front cross memeber and the 4-1 goes right in the midlle of the engine so where the oil pan is there is just one tube-pipe 2.5" no way you can hit those on road bumps !
And the other reason is that Bisi made it I always want his header...

http://www.bisimoto.com/

About the HP I don't know how many "hamsters" are runing in the engine right now but before I add
-TB STR 68mm
-ENDYN NA High compresion pistons
-Bisi header
-2.5" SS light weight exhaust
-custom CF intake
it had 193HP...

I need more money to buy BCIV cams and new valve train (right now it has ITR one)

Re: CTK: new engine pics

i understand the equal legnth pipes, but they couldnt get equals without all thoughs bends? I have a "HP Racing" header on my ZC, it was bought for an SI but is matches up with the ZC, i have a slight spurattic bog and am wondering if its because my pipes are not equal legnths. Its got the same layout style as the DC header with that one pipe from cyl 4 that goes around the back of the other 3 pipes and the O2 sensor on one of the pipes. I am thinking that that 1 pipe is longer then the rest and is causing a slight spuratic bog. So the 4-1 setup is for 1/4s and a 4-2-1 would be better for track use? So who makes a good 4-2-1 equal legnth pipe header for the ZC?

I'm tryin' to keep up in the NA scene but it's so damn expencive,
lots of parts bought and I must buy a lot more, so 2-3k $ additionally will be invested in the engine so it'll run it's top power...

Parts that I would like to put in:

-BC IV cams
-BC cam gears or toda racing
-Skunk2 or Toda racing valve train
-msd ignition or naything else that would be better thean stock, cause I really heat that orig. ignition always giving me troubles
-custom made ITBs
-maybe new final drive in gear box

That would really help improve my 1/4mile time...
Before I add Bisi best ET was 13.7s so now I'm goin on low 13s with bisi on and new optimizacion of ECU
