My 2001 5-speed 4wd pathfinder wont' go above 2500 rpm anymore. I've had that problem before, and it ended up being a dirty MAF sensor connection. I tried cleaning it out again, and nothing happened. I took the intake appart and just blew some air on it to get dirt off, put it back together and nothing changed. anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

Re: RPM issues... MAF???
your maf has probably gone faulty. try getting a used one. if you have the funds, get a new one
good luck

Re: RPM issues... MAF???
Yeah, it was the MAF. i didn't realize how expensive they were! well that also fixed an O2 sensor problem i was having... so it works out i guess. oh, i'm also getting tons better gas mileage now. so really it's not that terrible... i guess.
