i gotta jetta 2001 1.8 turbo and i got a problem. the EPC light is on and the service engine light too and they both go on and off about everyother time i drive. When the epc is on my tach thing only goes to 5 thousand rpms or whatever then cuts out and wont go any higher in all the gears. pisses me off!! and the damn car dies once in a while when the lights arent on and i start it up and then the lights go on. someone please tell me wtfs goin on

sounds like a really bad MAF, maybe cat too, maybe oxygen sensors too. It did that on my vr6. I hate it
