'01 Rodeo OEM AM/FM cassette deck question
Was wondering if any of you if the rear of the radio has an input for a plug from another device. I have the disc option on one of the buttons that is meant for the oem cd player, but I don't have that. I would like to use that option instead for my satellite radio receiver which has a jack for output. The satellite receive has a built in wireless FM modulator, but there is still lots of interference even on the "unused" frequencies here in NYC.

Re: '01 Rodeo OEM AM/FM cassette deck question
Personally I would drop the oem deck and buy a new one. The OEM one is very underpowered.

I can't really say on the '01 since I have a '99 but I can tell you on the '99 the connector on the back is very much customized for the Isuzu 6 CD changer. The controls on the factory AM/FM cassette will only work with this cheaply made unit.
I think Ryan't right. It's pretty easy to change out the factory radio on a Rodeo and they sell lots of them now that are XM/Sirius ready. A few more $$ to be sure but if you can afford to own an Isuzu, I bet you can afford a new radio.
