seat bolts to floor wont tightened.

I tried to tighten a bolt to my seat bracket floorboard mount. but I think its stripped out. Is there anything besides drilling? to fix this?
(The bolt goes through the bracket to the floorboard) Bigger bolt? Metel glue? shimms??

If its stripped out, tap it and use a bigger bolt. I have never seen that happen, but I guess there is a first time for any thing.

Re: seat bolts to floor wont tightened.

If you don't really plan on getting that bolt back out you can just go with a thicker one and force it in there. You know kind of making its own path as you put it in. A friend of mine did that and I guess it is still working for him. Although it may be the easiest way its not always the best.
