Turbo?

Hi. I have worked on british sports cars my whole life. I have a '91 Nissan 240sx. I want to put a turbo on it to get more power. It seems to me that I may be able to get a complete turbo system cheaper if I buy used parts individually(maybe parts off a sr20det). My problem is I do not know much about what is included in a turbo system. What would it take to do this? What parts? What has to be replaced? I have researched around the net but I haven't found anything helpful.

Well if you plan on turboing an N/A engine you will need these major things. Turbo (of course), IC, Intake, intake Manifold, up pipe, down pipe, exhaust man, piping, Injecters, a way to control all of it, and some assorted bits here and there You would probly save some money getting all of the stuff indivitualy but it will be quite a hastle.
