Talking Falling apart......

Okay, the glass fell out of one of my mirrors and shattered whiel i was in the drug store. I bought mirrors off ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT . MIrrors came with brackets but no bolts and the holes don't look threaded. Anybody installed these on their car? Need some pointers please..

Also, i was at st. augustine in a hotel (beachside ) and went to my car to scoot to the beach, and i noticed that i was missing a muffler tip , my stock exhaust already had a hole in it and now this. I know its time for a new exhaust, but i dont' have 400-500$$ to buy an exhaust system..Any cheap exhausts that yield pretty nice durability/results?? Probably not as alot of people use that quote "you get what you pay for".

Later gurus.

Re: Falling apart......

i dont kno about cheap exhausts out there for 240s, you know since they're growing popular and manufacturers are getting pricy with the parts.
either try and find a used one localy or build a custom exhaust. or you could just buy the pacesetters exhausts system ( jk, stay away from them. far away lol )
peace

Re: Falling apart......

SSAutocrome makes an entire engine back system for 350$ on ebay. Most people make fun of it all day long and then buy it.

I think you can get the catback for like 150$ or something.

Re: Falling apart......

i would never suggest anything from SSa... jus horrible products
(but you get what you pay for)

jus bring the mirrors to a local shop, and ask them what they would use to mount them...
(and see hwo much it would cost you to get em done there)

Re: Falling apart......

SSa is bad for some stuff, but their exhaust system is apparently one of their better products, hear lots of good things about it.
