Question Exhaust manifold leak

I have a 1983 Dodge truck, line six. I replaced my cracked exhaust manifold two years ago, sometime after that it started to leak. I just purchased an after market exhaust manifold, I found the casting to be not so great and the damper butterfly was welded making it turn very rough. My question is this, should I try end replace the gasket in the truck, using the exhaust manifold I already have? Maybe use an old racing trick and double up on the gasket? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Exhaust manifold leak

Whatever it takes to get it to seal, right? I just turn up my radio.
