I am not telling you to do this, I am only telling you that this is how I free up locked on hubs. It sounds to me like you may have some lips around the inside edge of your hup which your brake shoes are hanging up on (Or) a spring may have let go on your brakes thus causing them to open to their maximum, again bringing up on the inner edge of the hub, either way it has to come off, the best thing you could try is to adjust the brakes to their lowest point possible to see if this brings them lower then the lip, if so it should slide right off. If not you may have to get out the hammer. I usually hammer around the outside edge of the hub while rotating it to hit a different spot each time, this usually frees them up to where you may be able to slide the hub off. If not you may have to stick a flathead driver inside the hub and kid of pry the hub away from the vehicle while tapping with the hammer again around the outside of the hub while moving the screwdriver around the hub as it frees up. You may even have to use two screwdrivers together, one to pry and the other to hold the hub out and in place while you move the other to the next location, usually about a inch away. The screwdriver method will most likely ruin the shoes so if you are planning on using them again, this would be a last resort. If not, pry away. If there is quite a lip on there you may have to get it cut down before replacing it or even get a new one.A few whacks to the front of the hub to start with never hurts to break the rust seal which usually forms on there (DONT HIT THE STUDS) Again this is what I do in this case, try at your own risk..lol.
