Front and Rear Valence Pics 56k sure

what do you guys think? This is the stock GM ground effects package. I like it alot, compliments the stock looks very well. And my exhaust is there on the second pic, its just to dark to see from that angle. I also have some rims to put on, as soon as i get tires. 17 inch BSA 239's. The stock wheels are 16.

Very tastefully done

Think you'll ever go back to the "sleeper" look, with like stock appearance everything?

But yes that is one fine cavalier

Re: Front and Rear Valence Pics 56k sure

I honestly prefer the looks of the concept car that Chevy was gonna make. It looks like this:

I honestly think that car looks sweet, too bad they never made it.

Re: Front and Rear Valence Pics 56k sure

yeah the cavalier technic is what it was called. The car parts for it were sold on ebay about 6 months ago. If it came out, it would have had a turbocharged 4 cylinder that made something like 260HP. GM would have been way ahead of sport compact curve had they done that. I almost bought the front bumper, but the guy wanted to much for it. There is a company that did a remake of the front lip on that, but it only fits a 99 and below Z24 bumper, something i dont have.

I dont think i will ever go back to the sleeper look. Im really enjoying where the cavalier is going.

Took a few more pics, get a better view of the whole car. Last pic is my rims that im putting on as soon as i can afford some better tires. Damn rubber bands.

Re: Front and Rear Valence Pics 56k sure

Looks pretty good. You will probably have to work on suspension a little bit after the new wheels, the gap will probably be even bigger.

Re: Front and Rear Valence Pics 56k sure

no ive already got it all figured out. If i use 225/45 on my 17 inch rims, they will be just slightly bigger than what they are now. So much its gonna only offset my spedo by +.02 MPH, ill actually increase the total radius slightly.

The rear looks nice. Front, not so sure. But definitely not distasteful at all.

Re: Front and Rear Valence Pics 56k sure

You need some sorta exhaust on that thing, that rear exhaust area is just a dark hole.

You need a Folgers can in there, or MaxWell House... fill the hole!

Ok, kidding aside... you need something in there, looks odd. Unless I'm not seeing the exhaust?

Overall though, looks good. Definately will look proper once you get the rims on.

Re: Front and Rear Valence Pics 56k sure

I don't think you are seeing the exhaust Red, but it is there. I can barely see it, but it's there. The car definitely looks clean and smooth. The rims will pick up the entire look once you have them on.

Nice Cavy Jaybird.
