Some front wheel drive vehicles that have uneven half-shaft lengths, have a tendency to want to steer or pull to the right or left, from the torque of the engine.

Re: what is torque steer?

No. At least not completely.

Ever come around a corner with a powerful FWD car??? Front tends to get away from you under load.

There really is no way to correct the "Problem", that's just the way the car was made and that's just the way it handles as a result.

Use it to your advantage. With a little practice you can snap around corners without sliding. Just be careful where you choose to practice, make sure there is nothing around you can hit.

keeping the half-shaft lengths equal is a way to help allieviate the problem... but powerful fwd cars have torque steer... its a way of life... just like powerful rwd cars get squirly when they lose traction... things that can't really be avoided... like curbs haha
