Modding My Car
Hey guys i own a 92 Grand Prix LE. Its in great shape only has a little bit of rust on the body that im going to get fixed soon. The car only has 124,000 km. Is there much point or is it even possible to take a car like this and mod the engine and such?

It's gonna be hard but not impossible. THe 97-03 style is probably a better bet for modifications since there are like a billion (exaggerated) modifications for the L36 and L67 3800's Good luck.

Re: Modding My Car
i dont think its a good idea to go crazy trying to mod your car....its 14 years old...milage is a little high...if you increase the HP or tourqe to much you will have other problems...Like Jessup said the 3800 seems to take to mods better and have more available options how to mod...i know the 1997 1/2 Buick Regal GS(supercharged) with around 115,000 miles, in good condition, has a book value of about $3500- $4000, GTP is probobly about the same, maybe a little more...

Re: Modding My Car
The old 3.1 (vin-t) that your car has in it isn't really mod friendly , and there aren't many affordable mods that actually work. The lower ends are fragile and piston slap is a known issue. Doing anything to up the HP is going to exaggerate this and cause more problems than the few extra ponies are worth.
